A closeup


One of my better legs. dotted line is my route, 11.4 is my time in min/km. Winner averaged just over 7 min/km. In terrain like this, compass bearings are your friend, and mine are getting better on a daily basis. Holding a bearing on such crazy rocky terrain is not the same as doing it in a flat area.

WOW! That is one frickin' ugly map. Perhaps equally as frustrating as O'ring in Quebec the summer after the ice storm. I'll take the planted forests of UK anyday......

It's great to see that after all our hard work to stop you from using the "army" method, that the best way of finding it was on a direct compass berring.
